Relaxed Living Homes: Our Story

Managing Director, Ross Gee, is a qualified Builder and has also completed an Advanced Diploma of Building Surveying. Ross has been building in and around Mackay for over 15 years for his fathers' building company and has spent the last 5 years as Site Supervisor for the Mackay based Company.

Ross's unique eye for detail and passion for difference in design gave him the inspiration to begin his own building company with wife Lianne. So the Husband and Wife team established Relaxed Living Homes in February 2007 with a goal to achieve just that for all clients "Relaxed Living"!

Ross's experience in building ranges from single storey block homes to designer homes on the Gold Coast and Hamilton Island. He has worked with a variety of building products such as Hebel and Ultrafoor, a suspended concrete floor system, and has spent the last few years building mainly 2 storey homes on steep building sites, so it would seem that nothing is a challenge for Ross!

Ross and Lianne aim to build something a little different for their clients with design inspirations from the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Sydney. In the words of Ross Gee, "Just adding simple features such as stone walls and wall niches adds a touch of affordable class to any home"

Relaxed Living Homes offers the opportunity to work directly with the builder, something that rarely happens in today's busy building climate.
